Confor is a membership organisation that promotes the sustainable management of forests and successful wood-using businesses. As the voice of the UK’s forestry and wood sector, they represent the whole forestry and wood supply chain, from nurseries and growers to wood-processing end users.
Firefly was commissioned to complete an extensive rebrand of Confor, which involved renaming the organisation to ‘Confor: Promoting forestry and wood’. As part of the process, we created a new brand identity, which was rolled out across all of their communications, including their website, stationery, reports and exhibition materials.
The logo, which incorporated their new strapline, was designed to be modern, approachable and flexible. With the ability to adapt the photographic content that featured within the graphic ‘C’ device, the logo could be amended in line with a particular project or theme, while keeping the keyline, logotype and strapline consistent. A bilingual version of the logo for the Welsh market was also created.
To ensure their new brand was communicated correctly and consistently at all times, we created a comprehensive set of brand guidelines covering the use of their new logo, brand colours, typography and photography.
