Trade shows, exhibitions and conferences present businesses with the opportunity to fly the flag and put their brand in front of a large and potentially lucrative audience. Exhibitions and displays can be a costly exercise, so it pays to put on a good show, stand out from the crowd and make a positive impression.
As graphic designers, we are often challenged to work within the confines of a small space – a business card being the most extreme example. It makes a refreshing change to be asked to work on a much larger scale. The design of custom exhibition stands, display systems and wall graphics allows us to think outside the box and deliver creative solutions that are big on impact, convey confidence and imagination, and make a telling statement about the brand values that drive a business.
There’s more to it than graphics, of course. Exhibition projects also pose the not inconsiderable task of making best possible use of the available floor space and attracting event footfall to the stand.
