MEET THE TEAM.
We use a variety of techniques to create compelling creative solutions that work hard for our clients’ businesses.
Researching, thinking, sketching, planning, wireframing, designing, coding and testing to name a few, but what really makes the difference is our team of experts who work hard to get the best results for our clients, whatever the project.
As Creative Director at Firefly, Ben oversees all of Firefly’s design output, ensuring a consistently high standard across all the projects we undertake for our fantastic clients. Lacking somewhat in hair, Ben more than makes up for it with his wealth of experience in the design industry. He is an expert in branding and corporate identity, design for print, design for digital media, advertising and marketing.
With a strong passion for delivering excellent client care, Katrina is responsible for overseeing all projects at Firefly, from design, branding and advertising, through to websites and content management. Quite the traveller, Sarah worked in Sydney and London before settling back in Scotland and joining the Firefly team. Quick to learn the ropes at work, outside of work Sarah loves the great outdoors and enjoys hill walking, running and rock climbing. Despite having a lot on her plate, Sarah has a real passion for cooking and her creative side is always experimenting with recipes for new dishes.
Amy studied Graphic Design at Edinburgh College of Art and is an expert at developing creative campaigns with consistent brand strategies. Constantly striving to expand her knowledge, if Amy's not studying for her Professional Certificate in Marketing with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, it's likely she'll be deep in a podcast, often devouring at least two hours’ worth of content a day.
Sarah studied Graphic Design at Edinburgh College. Before completing her final year, she travelled to Canada, where she developed a love of the great outdoors. During her time there she worked with a group of Girl Guides obsessed with the film ‘Brave’, who were very excited about her Scottish roots. She then relocated to the not-so-far away pastures of Ireland where she worked as a nanny for two years.
Peter studied book and magazine publishing at Napier University and book design at the London College of Printing. He is an experienced content writer and brand consultant and in a career spanning 30 years has held directorships and senior account manager roles in the creative services industry. Prior to this, Peter worked client-side in marketing.
Although creativity and code both start with the letter ‘C’ that’s where the similarities end. That’s why we choose to keep our core team as creative designers, writers and managers. So, when it comes to building websites, we are proud to outsource web development to our talented team of local freelance developers. By doing so, we have the ability to be flexible and adapt to your individual requirements.
