Vetsolutions Rapport showreel

Driven by their passion for the wellbeing of animals, Vetsolutions, based in Edinburgh, work to advance the world of veterinary medicine. The global animal health technology and services company help to connect their customers with the best possible solutions and insights.

Rapport is the veterinary industry’s premiere client communications solution. The software is designed to improve patient care, increase practice efficiency and boost the flow of clients into a veterinary practice, amongst other benefits.

The Brief

Firefly was commissioned to design a showreel to promote Rapport and communicate the key features of the software. The showreel was launched at The British Small Animal Veterinary Association Congress 2015 and features as part of the Vetsolutions YouTube channel.

The Creative Outcome

From the beginning of this project, our central focus was to distil a large volume of information into a succinct and professional showreel, connecting with Rapport’s target audience.

As there was no voiceover and the video was to be displayed in various different settings, we used a clean, modern typeface to ensure legibility. In order to engage viewers, we presented key takeaways about the software using kinetic typography, an animation technique that combines text and movement to emphasise important words and sentences. This technique was complimented by upbeat music, which also helped to capture viewers’ attention.

The dynamic motion graphics video promoted Rapport, and presented information that might otherwise be overlooked, including facts and statistics, in an engaging and easily digestible way.
