The Creative Outcome

The OUP only selects the highest-quality content for their journals, so it was important to communicate that the organisation is an industry leader through the animation. We created a clear and informative animation that consists of four sections, illustrating the stages involved in the submission process of a manuscript. The process of OUP can be lengthy and complex, and thus this animation helps to educate the audience about the publishing journey and answer any potential queries they may have.

We collaborated with the Editor in Chief to create the storyboard and script, incorporating kinetic typography for subtitles that are engaging and easy to understand. We incorporated background music and a voiceover (VO) from a VO artist with a European accent to give the animation a global appeal for the international audience of OUP. We then segmented and created shorter versions of the animation for sharing on social media channels.
