The Brief
Firefly was commissioned to undertake a brand development project, which included the design and build of a new website. This aimed to showcase the facilities of the guest house and help to boost occupancy rates.

The Creative Outcome
Designed with longevity in mind, the website was built with a Drupal content management system, giving the guest house the flexibility to add and edit content and pages quickly and easily. The responsive website design ensures the user experience is optimised across desktop, tablet and mobile devices, whilst the use of clear navigation and an intuitive user interface help to encourage visitors to book a reservation.
Although a traditional building, the interior design of the guest house is contemporary. We were keen to convey the essence of the building through the website design. We achieved this by using aspirational photography, combined with clean, modern typography and a subtle pattern which adds depth to the brand and reinforces the boutique look and feel of the interiors. The soft black background, paired with the neutral and refined tones of the photography reinforce the luxurious nature of the guest house, further connecting with the brands target audience.
