Following a period of organic growth, Theory Test Revolution approached Firefly to work on a digital brand development project. This included enhancing the company’s prominence in the UK market by creating a series of onboarding screens for their apps.
As the apps represent an important learning tool, ease of use is paramount. One of our key considerations, therefore, was a responsive, accessible and engaging User Experience (UX) Design. During the design stage, we carefully considered each of the step’s users would take. This helped us to provide advice and support to the company surrounding how the process could be streamlined, ensuring it was seamless to use and navigate at all times.
In order to differentiate Theory Test Revolution from their competitors, we championed a clean and minimal aesthetic. This was in part achieved by using a light and fresh colour palette, which we applied to engaging and playful iconography to add depth to the brand.
Moreover, we used a clean, modern typeface and clear typographic hierarchy to highlight key information and call to actions. The combination of these design elements reinforces the professional, friendly and accessible nature of the educational platform, helping to connect with their target audience and build brand loyalty.

We wanted the characters in the graphics to be relatable everyday people from the Scottish public, and Firefly really managed to capture that. The graphics they designed are clean, colourful and clearly convey the right messages we wanted to get out there, helping us to launch National Walking Month 2018 in style. Thanks Firefly!”
