Hosted by Matt Adler, Recruiting Future is the world’s leading talent acquisition podcast. At a time of great change and uncertainty, they aim to inspire future leaders by shining a light on new voices successfully navigating the industry.
Recruiting Future required a brand refresh to maximise increased activity surrounding the podcast. To promote the podcast online and at events, we were commissioned to create a logo and hero image, as well as a PowerPoint template, social media assets and a pop-up banner.
With the primary objective of engaging the next generation, we developed a dynamic brand identity that positions Recruiting Future as an authority in their field.
As the podcasts unique selling point, it was essential that Matt Adler’s personality shined through the branding. This sparked the inspiration behind art directing a photoshoot with Matt. Combined with a clean, modern typeface and playful, linear pattern, the final duotone photograph forms the distinctive hero image. Whilst the typeface ensures legibility across all devices, the background pattern, which depicts key themes discussed in the podcast, reflects the cutting-edge content they produce. To retain trust and loyalty amongst the podcast’s current listeners, we incorporated their existing green and white colour palette.
Drawing upon a feature listeners’ associate with the podcast, we designed a simple yet effective glasses graphic for the logo marque. The logo evokes a sense of curiosity and aligns seamlessly with the hero image, encompassing the brands personality.
To ensure Recruiting Future’s fresh visual identity is communicated consistently at all times, we created profile and header imagery for their social media platforms and a PowerPoint template for pitches. We also designed a pop-up banner to be used as a professional background for video calls.

I commissioned Firefly to create branding and a website, along with various associated branded products, for Health Data Research UK, a major new health research institute.
Firefly understood the requirements very quickly and met the branding brief on their first pass, delivering striking and effective creative work. The website met our technical requirements while showing the new branding off to great effect. It was a pleasure working with them and I hope to do so again.
