The Brief

Lantra approached us to design a brochure to promote careers in agriculture.

The primary target audience was Gen Z, particularly school pupils aged 14-17, school leavers aged 16-18 and career changers aged 18-25. Secondly, it should also appeal to careers advisors, teachers, and parents who influence decisions of teenagers and younger adults.a

The Creative Outcome

To capture the attention of prospective students and help them to visualise what a career in agriculture could look like, we incorporated engaging photography of people working in the industry. We paired this with a contemporary colour palette and angular graphics to create a strong visual style. To further entice readers and highlight key content, we used a combination of tables, infographics and typographic hierarchy.

“Firefly has been an absolute joy to work with. We commissioned them to create a promotional animation for us and on seeing the storyboard, we were so impressed with the work they did that we ended up contracting them to design a series of printed materials too.

Creative, friendly and responsive, they’ve truly delivered on what we asked for and more. We had a very tight turnaround on our project and they made it all happen in good time. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.”
