Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS)
The Alliance for Water Stewardship (AWS) is a global, non-profit organization that unites businesses, NGOs, and the public sector to promote responsible, equitable, and sustainable management of freshwater resources.

The Brief
AWS commissioned Firefly to create a bespoke Microsoft Word template for the AWS Standard. By designing a user-friendly template, the document could be easily updated internally when new versions were required. The template needed to have a brochure-like feel with distinctive chapter introductions while making full use of their bold colour palette.
The Creative Outcome
By utilising enlarged typography and colour-coding each chapter, we were able to create eye-catching introductions that made the entire document accessible and easy to follow. We also incorporated AWS’s wave illustration as a key graphic device to reinforce their brand identity and provide visual depth to the text-heavy document.
To enhance their presence further, we included the AWS logomark within the footer along with their URL as a means of driving traffic to their website. During the template design process, it was crucial that we accounted for worst-case scenario heading length. Therefore, we strategically scaled the colourful header to accommodate up to three lines of text.
