The Creative Outcome

We subtly reinforced Brockwell Energy’s brand by introducing key visual elements to the front cover which feature consistently throughout the document pages. By designing an adaptable front cover, users can easily choose from up to three different cover styles: graphical, photographic and photographic with a blue overlay. Referring to the existing brand fonts as a foundation, we developed a well-balanced hierarchy for typography which was set as easily applied type styles. Furthermore, table styles and colour palette were built into the template to offer users an easy and consistent way of applying information.

Pre-formatted landscape pages that could be easily inserted into the document were developed as part of the project to accommodate wider landscape tables, graphs and charts.

For their policy and procedure documents, the client requested a front cover that felt distinctly different from the report cover while still being recognisable as a Brockwell Energy document. To accommodate a range of title lengths, we took a typographical approach utilising Brockwell’s characterful typography as the focal point of the cover.

Additionally, we provided Brockwell Energy with comprehensive user notes and guided their team through best practices for using their templates in an in-depth training session followed by a Q&A.
