We were commissioned to support with naming, logo and branding, their website, and interior and exterior signage. The brand needed to convey key messages throughout its communications that evoked quality and built trust in its target audience.
Having supported in naming Waterfront Private Hospital, and after conducting extensive market research we created a logo marque formed from the letter ‘W’ with rounded edges to give it a friendly and approachable feel. The central loop reinforces the hospital’s full-circle approach to care and the connection between surgeons and patients.
The marque effortlessly distils the brand into a timeless and elegant logo design that alludes to the premium nature of the hospital and exudes confidence. The clean logotype below the marque contributes to a professional and contemporary design. The logo is set in a sophisticated combination of gold and midnight blue, in line with the distinguished and modern brand aesthetic.
We were tasked with creating interior and exterior signage to ensure the hospital took advantage of its prominent position, stood out to passers-by, and was easy to find for patients. The building’s metal and glass exterior was weathered, therefore we designed printed and frosted vinyl to clad the surface, and a halo-illuminated logo on the front facade. Wave-inspired linear designs are incorporated in the vinyl to signify Waterfront’s proximity to the sea and further reinforce the brand’s clean, refined aesthetic. We also produced a totem sign for the front entrance and a face-illuminated logo marque at the rear facade.
Extending this ethos to Waterfront’s digital presence, we designed and built its website and produced social media templates. The sleek, user-friendly website embodies the brand identity as well as showcasing the hospital’s services seamlessly. The site’s modern interface and clear navigation, offer visitors an intuitive user experience, in turn reflecting the hospital’s commitment to excellence.
We employed a block structure to key webpage templates incorporating typography and photography with alternating colours and linear wave graphics, to effectively separate key information into easily digestible chunks. The website evokes trust and professionalism aligning with Waterfront’s ethos in healthcare. Built with a WordPress content management system (CMS), the website can be easily updated by the Waterfront team.
