Scotland’s Charity Air Ambulance (SCAA) plays a vital role in Scotland’s emergency response network, assisting in medical emergencies and trauma incidents across the country.
Covering an area of over 30,000 square miles, SCAA is committed to saving and improving lives throughout Scotland every day.

The Brief
We were commissioned, alongside other literature, to produce the SCAA annual report. This also encompassed the creation of infographics to be incorporated into the report. We were tasked with organising and overseeing print production along with producing a PDF version of the report that could be distributed digitally.
The Creative Outcome
We created a dynamic annual report that communicated key messaging in a captivating and easily digestible way. We utilised and expanded upon the charity’s existing colour palette and employed the oval shape from their logo marque to house photography and important information within the report. This ensured the layout was kept clean and structured, with an aesthetic that aligns with the organisation’s brand identity.
To help break up large sections of text we created and incorporated several infographics into the report. Designed to be easy to understand yet engaging, the infographics helped to capture the readers’ attention and present key information and statistics clearly.
In addition, the text utilises a typographic hierarchy to emphasise important content, while the modern san-serif typeface ensures readability.
