We were commissioned to develop the MOS brand, create brand guidelines and produce their 2022/23 prospectus.

In the brand development stage, we aimed to create a contemporary visual style that aligned with MOS’s innovative approach to education and appealed to their target audience.

Retaining the established brand colours, we expanded the colour palette with complementary neutral shades. These secondary colours offer the brand more flexibility and add depth to communications. We also analysed typography, working with the MOS team to select typefaces that contribute to a modern, forward-thinking aesthetic.
Before working with us, MOS started incorporating organic shapes into their communications. We refined this concept by creating pebble shaped graphic devices and outlined how these could be used consistently to give the brand a friendly but professional look and feel.

The dynamic prospectus utilises the soft colour palette and features the pebble devices throughout, contributing to a distinctive and playful aesthetic. To make the publication as accessible as possible, we used highly legible typography, clear typographic hierarchy and tables. This not only emphasises key information, but seamlessly guides readers through the content. The image led design incorporates bright, high quality photography of pupils and staff to engage readers and reflect the inspirational MOS learning environment.
We produced comprehensive brand guidelines that outline logo usage, colour palette, typography, graphic devices and photography. This accessible guide is designed for people both within and out with the organisation to ensure the brand is communicated correctly at all times.
